Sichuan Medical University is one of the Chinese medical schools that offers an MBBS programme in English to international students. This is a world-class medical university that reports directly to China’s Ministry of Education. Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, is home to the university. Chengdu is known as the “Land of Abundance,” and it is rich in regional culture and history. The North Sichuan Medical University is divided into three campuses: Huaxi, Wang Jiang, and Jiang’an. The total area is more than 400 hectares, with a total floor space of approximately 2.7 million square metres.
Students can choose from nine major course disciplines: social science, humanities, management, natural science, economics, engineering, law, and medical science. The university has a total of 12,000 faculty members, 900 of whom are professors. The university has 5 Chinese Academy of Engineering and Academia Sinica academicians. This university has over 70,000 students, including over 2,100 MBBS students, 600 of whom are international students.
