About Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy
Tbilisi Medical Academy was formed in 1992 by Petre Shotadze, a well-known pediatric surgeon and Georgian physician. Following Dr. Shotadze’s death in 1999, Tbilisi Medical Academy was renamed “Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy.” TMA has produced over 1500 alumni who work successfully in top Georgian and international hospitals, scientific centers, and universities since its inception.
Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy is a self-governed higher education institution with highly trained academic staff that conducts its activities in conformity with all existing rules and regulations.
