Counseling & Supreme Court NTA NEET 2021

The center will file an affidavit, according to the Supreme Court. This affidavit will include the results of the committee’s evaluation. A plea brought by a group of medical students in their undergraduate years was considered by a bench led by Justice DY Chandrachud. Aspirants have petitioned the Supreme Court to order the National Testing Agency (NTA) to re-release the NEET results.

NTA NEET: What was in the plea that caused the delay in counseling?

The petitioners said that they do not want to fail Physics because they are unfamiliar with the subject, and that it would be better if it were assessed by specialists who are bilingual (fluent in Hindi and English). According to the students, question number 2 of the Physics section of the NEET-UG question paper contained a “discrepancy and patent error,” and the terms “amplitude of current” were deleted from the English to Hindi translation of the question. Candidates who used the Hindi translation to answer the questions came up with a different answer.

The hearing was held on November 24. During the hearing, the National Testing Agency agreed to look into the apparent mistake. The Solicitor General of India, Tushar Mehta, announced that an affidavit outlining the expert panel’s conclusion will be presented, and that all students who passed the exam will be eligible for NEET 2021 counseling. Candidates will be allotted to medical institutes all around India; however, NEET Counseling dates have not yet been declared and will be released once the Supreme Court makes its ruling.
