Practice Medicine in India
In order to practice medicine in India after completing an MBBS abroad, Indian students must take a screening test administered by the National Board of Examinations on behalf of the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Students who pass the exam can subsequently register with the National Medical Council to practice medicine. The goal of the test is to assess an individual’s own abilities, skills, comprehension, and grasp of key medical procedures.
